After Graduation, what did I do?
@rachiepn. Rachel Poon asked a question on her blog asking what people did after graduation. I answered, that I painted, took a 5-week road trip, worked for 3 months to save up some money, and spent a lot of time with family, friends, and God (more on that in tomorrow’s post).
But I really started thinking about this. And so, I want to talk about the summer after I graduated. All of my...

Being a great thing vs. having a great life pt. 3
Continuing from part 2 of yesterday’s post about being great vs. having a great life (pt. 2):
Brian: But are you saying that life just a string of accomplishments? Is greatness a matter of achieving a set (or maybe unset) level of things, may it be tangible or untangible?
Here in HK, I’ve been given an opportunity, career-wise, to do a lot of pretty great things. And I believe that this job will...

Being a great thing vs. having a great life pt. 2
A continuation of yesterday’s post about the topic of being great vs. having a great life (pt. 1):
Brother: If you read about Jack Welch - former CEO of GE - he said that he had to make sure that his company was strong and making a lot of money before he could think about helping his community. What he meant was that he was focused on creating an organization that created wealth better than...

One Week of Greatness
Originally, this was going to be a single post, but after looking and the entire script and post, it’s a bit daunting and very long. And so, I’ve decided to separate it all out into separate entries over the course of this week.
“It’s about the journey - mine and yours - and the lives we can touch, the legacy we can leave, and the world we can change...

The spring break season has finally come to an end, just at the start of March Madness season. 65 teams vying for the title of NCAAs best collegiate basketball team. This time of the year is more exciting than the superbowl, and more electrifying than the nba playoffs. It’s a time and place where champions and cinderellas are born and come to die…This year was no different as the...

We can live without facebook, YES WE CAN!
John Mayer tried a week long tech fast (no FB, twitter, blogging, crackberry, youtube, etc). Only pre-1980s communication (phone, face, smoke signals).
If this stuff wasn’t a part of my job, I would have given it up for lent, instead of baos and the josh harnett project. Not sure which is harder.

Dodgeball Diaries: Medical advice
So as you know, yesterday I really hurt my back playing dodgeball (insert laughter of ridicule here). So after waking up this morning and suffering through a whole day of “FML, I can’t move” I decided to take matters into my own hands and take some drugs (just asprin). I am normally hugely against taking unnecessary drugs just because if you don’t need it and cam do without it, why...

Dodgeball diaries: my first injury
So yesterday, I played dodgeball at Smithfield sports complex in Kennedy Town. It was a really fun time. What I thought was going to be a friendly playground game of dodgeball, turned into a fierce borderline crazy intense game of whose your daddy. Strategy, hot tempers, play calling…all were a part of this game. This was a game for warriors with foam balls serving as their mighty spears. I...

Music Playlist for Week of March 15, '10
It’s Spring Break Week out in the states. This week is the basically the culmination of everything college - hooking up, getting drunk, partying, and letting loose right after midterm season and right before finals. It’s the one week during the academic year where you are with all of your friends and you don’t have to worry about a thing! It’s a good time.
And so in honor...

Tim: Why do you say that?
Jimmy: Because, he said, "I think you're retarded."
