Soft Pork Bone Noodle Soup
Just got back from Tsui Wah. Jackie, Stan, and I just had Jur Yurn Gwut with Mai Seen (Soft Pork Bone with Spagetti in soup), Bun with Condensed Milk and Peanut Butter, and Lamb Chops in curry sauce with a side order of Naan. Pretty delicious. All for the incredible amount of (HKD) $125 (~ $16 USD). Good food. Though I’m starting to get partied out…

Church
Need to find a church in HK. Feeling so disconnected. Would be good to do the fellowship thing. Starting to miss the HFG at Charise and David’s.

Hip Hop Club?
Apparently, when my friend invited me to go to a hip hop club, she meant, let’s go to an all-you-can-drink bar with a (HKD)$280 cover that just so happens to play hip hop. Stupid… Brian Mak did not get his swerve (or his Ursher/MJ) on yesterday night. Also, for those who know me well, I’m like 41 for 49 now. The curse has followed me to HK. Ridiculous…

Mantra
Don’t have regrets. Keep moving. Take chances. Keep growing. But ultimately, leap of faith - allow yourself to truly love others, and open yourself up to be loved by others.

Anytime, any place
You can never tell who you will become super close with, and where/when you will meet them. I met my BFF 6 years ago at a family function. Stan met one of his close friends here at a 7-Eleven.

Wonton Mien
Just went to Mak Ung Ghey - Wonton Noodle Place. Noodles were firm and filling. Soup was warm and tasty. Wontons were juicy and delicious. Bowls/portions were small, and just satisfying. Had hot milk tea and an egg tart (dahn tat) afterwards outside. Weather is hot and humid. Hot noodle soup with hot tea during days like this = sweaty satisfaction

I like Chinese soup
Met up with the Mak family, and then with my other extended family, the Cheungs. Submitted my Right of Abode application - basically the Green Card of HK (sort of). Had Chicken chinese soup at lunch. Delicious…I want more.

Cake fight, water fight, sparkling liquor fight
Day 1: Got off the plane after a 16+ hour flight. My BFF picked me up from the airport and we went to Elaine’s bday party. We had a cake fight, which then turned into a sparkling wine fight, which ultimately ended in a water fight. Got home at 6am. Jet lag is amazing…so is cake on the face.
